The Geothermal Museum in Larderello, established at the end of the fifties, is housed on the recently renovated ground floor of Palazzo de'Larderel. The museum tells the story of geothermal energy and illustrates the investigative and drilling techniques through the aid of models.

This museum, predominately a multimedia museum that explains the geothermal phenomena and its industrial development, is an excellent introduction to the surrounding area.
